How many losing seasons has Nebraska had in the past year? How many has Iowa had? Seriously, we could do this all day/night. I'll sum it up for the slow people. Nebraska has a more storied past than Iowa. Iowa was better than Nebraska this year.

Nebraska is now an afterthought on the modern college football landscape. The Cornhuskers were great back in the day, but no more.
Again, I ask; Fifteen days after the Iowa at Nebraska game, which the Cornhuskers lost by the score of 28-20, why are Cornhusker hans here on the Iowa message board?
We weren't better in 2011 and 2012 and arguably not in 2014.
Because we enjoy sharing opinions with our rival. We may be irrelevant now but things can change in a year. Just look at Iowa. Was Iowa relevant last year? Next year should be interesting for both teams.

2002 is when Iowa had it's best year since the early 1990's that season was Nebraska worse (7-7) since Jennings was the head Coach.
Iowa made it to the top of the cliff and Nebraska after 4 decades finally fall of the cliff. Only 2 of Callahan years we were just as good as Iowa or better.
2009 was Ferentz and Pelini best teams. 2010 I could also make the case with GPRHAWK along with 2011,2012 and 2014.

Given time which starts with this year this game will become a rivalry regardless of what some Husker fans want to admit. Beating us more often will result into one. Colorado and K- State had success in the past too but didn't beat us enough for the fan base could consider them rivals.
