Illinois Basketball Podcast....WTH???

Ok, so I am on the road ALL THE TIME. When I am driving I like to catch every Hawk podcast I can. After I go through those, I will usually pick one from a team we have upcoming and then also a random one form another BIG team if there is time.

Today, I had time and I just got done listening to one called "Illinois Basketball Podcast". Now, most Podcast I listen to have very little vitrol towards other teams......but these idiots (really one in particular) were HAMMERING on Luka as both overated and as a player that does nothing but hook and drive to get his points. Now, I understand that there is some contention from Illini fans that Dosumu is actually player of the year, but these guys CLEARLY HATE IOWA. Are there other podcast that anyone has listened to from other BIG teams where the host go off on a specific other team to rag on, and who they are not even playing? Just curious.

Right, so he's not the nations leading scorer, (at least with in a 10th of a %) and a big who is shooting 45% from behind the three point line, like Cockburn can step out and drain the three ball! As Mr Gump says, "Stupid is as stupid does". Illini gonna say stupid stuff, I guess.......

Different types of players. Ayo is more athletic and will do better in the NBA (probably). Luka is a stud down low. It's kind of like comparing a wide receiver to a linebacker. Their contributions are different.

I mean, kinda calling BS here ... our following remained remarkably large and engaged through years of sucking, regularly having large attendance numbers, busy message boards and traveling well. Obviously, many more have re-engaged, though.
