Hope they win, but it'd be increddible if they could just keep it close. It would be impossible for any team in the Big 12 to defend when they talk about Iowa and the Big Ten in general.

If the big 12 ever needed a team to win it is OSU. I have never bought the fixing games crap, but we may need to keep an eye on this game after they overturned that touchdown that would have made it 21-7.
No, have to at least be a bowl team, preferably an over .500 team, to be considered, but them beating Oklahoma State will help us.

If ISU's O can keep running the ball in second half, their D is playing well enough to keep this thing close. That was a great drive by OSU, but I don't think they like to just hold the ball on offense. Especially not when trailing on the road.
If ISU hears that will winning the game helps us, they will probably lose on purpose.

I don't think that's true. I think they'd be ecstatic to get such a big win for their program.
I also doesn't think this would really help Iowa that much. Iowa just has to win. If we lose to any of the remaining teams on our schedule, we don't deserve a playoff spot. If we lose two and Wisconsin wins out, we don't deserve a division title or a shot in Indy. This would only help us in next week's CFP ranking.

So explain to me exactly how one less team having a chance to make the playoff doesn't help Iowa.
you obviously didn't miss the part where I said it dashes Okie States playoff bid.
Anytime I have seen somebody bring up the "ISU winning will help Iowa" is talking in terms of SOS. Them winning this game will do nothing to help Iowa. but, as I type this Okie State is gets the go ahead TD.
At least we can be entertained listening to the media spin this to make this close game against ISU not sound so bad.
