Just running through some numbers in the database today on the in-state Class of 2019.

Currently, there are 12 in-state prospects with FBS offers with the latest being Clear Lake OL Jared Penning, who added an offer from Eastern Michigan this week. The other 11 all have Power 5 offers.

Last year, the final number was 12 with Power 5 offers and that included Iowa's grayshirt offer to Riley Moss and Power 5 offers to Sean Boles, Saybein Clark, and Andrew Todd, who ended up going the non-Power 5 route.

Anyway, the Class of 2019 is off to a good start. I think the Class of 2017 was the best in recent memory with a total of 18 recruits that had Power 5 offers.

Here's the full list of 16 from the Class of 2004. Brandon Myers ended up being the best NFL player of the group and he was a 5.1 RR 2-star that got a last minute offer from Iowa right before signing day.

The 2004 list appears to be missing 3 guys .... Andy Brodell, Matt Kroul, and Grant McCracken (at least guys who were Iowa commits).

Thanks. There seems to be some hiccup in the database. I know it's missing at least one Iowa State recruit, Landon Streit, as well.

Had to fix a few old profiles that weren't showing up before.

The Class of 2004 actually went 20 deep as far as in-state recruits with Power 5 offers.

Looking ahead, there are already 4 in-state prospects with Power 5 offers in the Class of 2020.

The latest is Tyler Miller, who is up to 273 pounds now, and added offers from Iowa State and Cincinnati this week.

appreciate these lists Blair. Curious, was there much interest from Iowa with Remsburg and Porter?
