IN THE CIRCLE

Nine years old is the perfect age to start training your daughter year round 7 days a week. And that's regardless of whether she wants to or not.

Looking forward to seeing her highlight tape in 2-3 years.

I wanted to join before this, but a few things kept on stopping me One being my wife. I recently told her if our Daughter is going to wrestle at IOWA we need to be in the CIRCLE. GO HAWKS

My daughter is 9 so she has lots of training to do. Glad to be a member hopefully for years to come.
Train a child in the way they should go, and when she is old, she will not depart from it!!!

nice grip!! my son is starting next week at 4. There was zero pressure, in fact he asked his mom. Hope he likes it. seems pumped, good luck to your gal. Hope she is the next mensa or helen.

Sounds great, but - just so you know ahead of time - in 9 years we are going to be asking for pics.

No butter on popcorn? You Commie bastard! 😏
The butter is too messy and it takes away from the popcorn flavor. Plus, that’s not how my grandparents did it. Grandma cooked it on the stove top and filled a turkey roaster to overflowing. On Sundays we had popcorn for dinner and watched Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom and Wonderful World of Disney.

OLD SCHOOL gotta be stovetop. Get the oil super hot. Add the kernels then get to shaking! Best done with a Cast Iron skillet in my humble opinion.
I’ve gone through multiple turn-handle poppers during my adult life.

While I’m on a roll, another popcorn contender was the jalapeño popcorn I used to make in the squadron lounges while in the Air Force. Just add a few jalapeños and pour some of the juice into the mixer of the commercial style machines and…voila!

Those were the days. Three TV channels and usually something to watch. And then the Wizard of Oz to scare the bejesus out of us one Sunday evening every year.

PS: I watched pro bowling with my grandpa on Sunday afternoon as well. lol

decided last night i'm going to catch my first movie at the theatre since covid on friday and this popcorn talk is going to make the wait tortuous

Love Mutual’s wild kingdom, not so much that Disney stuff, that I was forced into by my wife and Daughter.
My daughter hates princesses now she kinda reminds me of Forest “Snowflake” Molinari in that way.

Yeow.

Movies are something I’m now totally fine catching at home. I’m still not attending indoor musical events yet either.

I actually learned my lesson OD'ing on butter at the Theatre, where you can pour your own at the little side station at some places. Overdid that twice and felt like crap! So I've definitely dialed that back a bit.

Attended my first concert last week…Needtobreathe with Switchfoot and The New Respects. It was 4+ hours and “totally awesome!”
