In the Okie state bend the knee or gtfo

Most of the undocumented immigrants affected by the EO entered the country when there were younger than 10 and were now in there 20s.

This was the point. Back door immigration. Encouraging it. You really can’t see the problem here? Why weren’t they and their parents shown the door within 1 year?

Why reward breaking our laws with being allowed to stay?

Answer that.

Good solution. One Biden and his cronies would never enact.

Agreed. Good solution. I’m all for orderly, lawful immigration on America’s terms. Not this after the fact invasion….who the hell knows who is coming in and when/where current policy.

I don’t listen to Trump.

The Pubs won’t engage because the Dems have and will continue to act in bad faith. This much has been proven.
You were doing OK for a while.
Couldn’t help but revert to the same BS you have been slinging today.
EO will not begin to solve this decades old issue. Big boys and girls need to work together to craft some good solutions. Will the republicans work in good faith, or listen to the orange idiot?

This, again, is nonsensical--primarily because you do not know the basic facts of DACA. There is no path to citizenship. It permits undocumented persons who are under 31 years old, that were brought to the US while under the age of 16, have lived in the US continuously for 5 years, the ability to get a work visa and apply for financial aid if they are in school or finish primary school if they dropped out. This is not motivation for people coming now. It doesn't apply to them and they don't even know about.

I am not a nativist like you are. I think creating a more robust seasonal and transient worker visa program is a better solution to the situation -- allowing workers the working members to come across and work while family stays at home--but still allowing asylum claims for the qualified (it's difficult to imagine the Haitians, Cubans and Venezuelans that are at the board don't have a valid asylum claim) is a more tenable solution to immigration. Much like it was up until the 1970's when migrant workers crossed into the states to work the farms for 9 months then return home for winter.

But the US has always had nativists that wanted to close the door behind them. Primarily western European immigrants. First it was the British not wanting the dutch in NY. Then too many irish. Don't let the Italians in. First federal immigration law was the Chinese Exclusion act.

What is the point of having “court dates” 4 years out other than to encourage more migrants who want a free pass to live here for 4 years?

This policy encourages illegal immigration.

Opposing Texas from preventing migration.
DACA.
4 year out meaningless court dates.

Look at their actions not their words.

Their actions are what I oppose, not their lies for public consumption.

This is all I have asked...two parties work together to solve this decades long issue. They were actually doing it. Donald Trump is throwing a grenade into the problem because he once again only cares about HIMSELF. I can't wait until he disappears.

That was the next logical move.

Gradual conditioning, that’s how it is done.

A) Encourage migration through incentives in contradiction to federal immigration law.
B) Well they came here with their parents, they can go to school and get jobs.
C) So they went to school and got jobs. Hell they are basically citizens already. better give them citizenship, it’s the only humane thing to do.
D) Any children they have, they are Americans.
E) Hell we can’t have them leave now, their kids are Americans! That would be cruel!

This is all purposeful and intentional. It is one big voter drive.

Consistently exclaiming that the border is open, and that the president wants the immigrants to come is incentivizing the mass migration. The people who do that are actually encouraging the immigrants, they're encouraging the mass migration.

Ya it sees you're looking at screwballs, so it suggests bigger screwballs.

Not exactly, I follow a wide range political views on X. Those people either Repost, and it comes on my feed, or if they comment on a post, it comes on my feed. It shows me their comment and ties it back to what they commented on. Either way, I don’t have to be following an account to see what other people are engaging in.

Now if only some of the geniuses on this site who constantly attack me for following people I don’t follow would get that through their thick skulls.

Not likely.

All immigrants vote as a block?

From my time on the border near Lukeville, Arizona. The port of entry closed because so many illegal aliens were there. Mostly male illegal aliens from the African countries of Senegal and Guinea which are majority Islamic. Tensions were very high because people tried to cut in line to get on transport vehicles first. I see that all the time. There were so many illegal aliens, many had to sleep here 3 days. There's not enough Border Patrol and the Biden administration refused to call in the national guard to help. Watch to the end and follow me on my other social media accounts listed there. (This is part of another project I’m working on)

All immigrants vote as a block?

Immigrants will typically vote in their own best interest.

One party is the party of encouraging illegal immigration and handing out good and services when they arrive. They then agree to aid you for the next four years until your “court date.”

Which party do you think they’ll vote for? That party? Or the party that says they shouldnt have come here illegally in the first place. Don’t be obtuse.

“Truss and other black residents told me that Chicago, which calls itself a “welcoming city,” has been verywelcoming—just not to them. Since August 2022, Chicago has greeted nearly 35,000 new arrivals with resources like laundry services, mental health screenings, and $15,000 in rental support per person—all funds that Truss says could’ve gone a long way in Amundsen Park in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood, where nearly 28 percentof residents live below the poverty line.”

everyone votes in their own best interest

Ok we have that established. Will immigrants vote in favor of the party incentivizing them to move here, actively giving them free goods and services, and doing everything they can to naturalize them and their children?

Or the GOP?

How about the GOP comes down off the mountain and try to earn the vote of immigrants.

Preach.
And, BTW, please be involved in crafting viable immigration reform. You are knowledgeable about the issue, well spoken, and would immediately command respect from a panel of your peers on this complicated and far reaching issue.
