Wisconsin up 49-37 almost halfway through the 2nd half.

Indiana is 5-13 from three and has shot three free throws. I said they'd make six this game, but also said they'd shoot 30 of them.

If you actually make Indiana play half-court, they beat themselves. Getting into a track meet like we did isn't a good idea.

I agree..but isn't that what Fran let his guys do? Also, Wisconsin will D you up in man to man, but Iowa man-to-man is porous.

I wouldn't say Fran let his guys play a transition game. The players missing shots and getting outphysicalled on rebounds dictated a transition game.

Yup we can't match teams man to man. We are so horrible on defense. That is a flaw that Fran coached teams have.

Indiana is a poor matchup against Wisconsin, much like Iowa is.

Iowa is such a bad match-up with the Badgers that it took the Hawkeyes to the last seconds to only win by two @Madison.

I like the Wisconsin matchup better than trying to run with an Indiana team that is on fire. We probably would have hung with Wisconsin if we had played them 1st. Double team Happ and hope their 3balls aren't going down. Koenig, Showalter, and Trice were all shooting well from 3ball and they apparently forced Indiana to earn their points, so they won.


Indiana's Bryant got into foul trouble, DeRon Davis was not 8/8 or whatever he was vs Iowa, and their 3pt shooting was still good but not unbeatable good. Probably Wisconsin defense had something to do with them cooling off.

We didn't get friendly whistle vs Bryant like Wisconsin did with Bryant only playing around 23 minutes.
