We all know that Indy gets shots at guys we don't stand a chance with. It's just the way it is.

And, they get better overall talent than most. So, don't feel bad.

That talent came together last night and beat the pants off of us when the game was tight, so, kudos to them.

This is not a slam on our talent, for I believe that we've got some good years left with the talent we have. And, so does everyone else.

Our defense also helped them out by reverting to our poorest of efforts, but some of that was also their talent.

Once again, kudos.

Iowa Defense was awful. Wiscky locked them down as you should. Jok will have a good career...in Belgium

When healthy, Hoosiers were a top 5 team.

When playing well, we were a Top 25 team. We just didn't reach that level as much as we'd like.

Indiana had beaten some of the best programs in the country this year. We'd, also, had success against some good teams. I would argue that those teams were somewhat inconsistent over the course of the season and we capitalized on that, to our credit.

I guess that I'd contend that Indiana at their best vs. Iowa at their best would end up in Indiana's favor most of the time.

imo, Indiana had the talent even with the injuries to compete for the Big Ten Regular Season Championship. We did not.

imo, Indiana had enough experience to compete for the Big Ten Regular Season Championship. We did not.

We saw what happens when Indiana decides to actually play basketball.

But here is another opinion. It takes extraordinary talent to overcome Tom Crean's coaching. And Indiana's talented players have done that a couple times in the past and WON the Big Ten Regular Season Championship! Yet Crean finds himself in the doghouse and often on the ledge of even having a job or not.

Meanwhile, Iowa has slowly improved year in, year out, and it appears our talent level is rising. And certainly we will be more experienced.

We lost the battle, but the war isn't over, and I like the looks of our future.
