Interesting read

By the way, we don’t live in a democracy. We live in a constitutional republic.

Hello OP, here are some words for you to read. Feels free to address any of them. I'm just winging it off of memory so feel free to add anything I missed.

Trump started a meme crypto coin for him and his wife. The result was they stole tens of billions of dollars from supporters. Given the pump and dumps it has done recently after the major rug pull it is likely people are buying access through the crypto coin.

Trump has given the world's richest man total access to any government agency he wants under the guise of cost savings. He has directly went after government agencies such as the CFPB. The consumer financial protection bureau essentially pays for itself and has returned 21 billion dollars to consumers that banks and etc have defrauded from Americans. Twitter was going to fall under the CFPB because Elon wants to use Twitter as a payment processor much like PayPal. Some heinous things the CFPB has done is make sure banks can't rearrange transactions to get the most overdraft fees as possible. They have also made it so medical debt (the number one cause of bankruptcy in the US) isn't included on credit reports.

In the quest of Elon trying to kneecap the 11 or so agencies investing him to include the NLRB, SEC, CFPB, OSHA, USAID, etc; DOGE and Trump have lost court battles that include them losing access to those agencies and an order to destroy the servers used by DOGE. They have ignored those judges. That destroys the relationship between the co-equal branches of government, and pulls us in the direction of authoritarianism.

Trump pardoned the Silk Roads site creator. The Silk Roads was a deep web drug and murder for hire marketplace. Through their sale of online drugs they lead to the deaths of many teens and adults. How can one pretend to be so concerned about drugs coming across the border and pardon such a person? Other pardons include pedophiles that were part of the J6 cop assaulters. Mostly recently he was coming to the support of Andrew Tate; a renowned sex trafficker.

Trump ran under the guise of a more peaceful candidate and many fell for that. Under Trump 1 he executed 400% more drone strikes than Obama and assassinated some Iranians. In Trump 2 he has threaded Canada, Mexico, Greenland, Norway, Gaza, and Panama. He did not run on any of those, those came out after he was elected. It appears there is a good chance the US will abandon NATO, and appears we will be abandoning Ukraine. Not opposing Russia's advance on a sovereign nation is an open invitation to imperialism everywhere.

Smaller and more nefarious stuff such as deregulating PFAS (forever chemicals) has occured too. It will only help to continue the rise of cancer in the US. However, it does help profits now.

Which one of the above do you support?

I want to insert a way of thinking into all of this. Consider how audits actually work and the sheer size of these organizations. A person and a band of unvetted young men can not properly audit an organization in the amount of time that they have, let alone several organizations. They are not auditing departments, rather eliminating agencies they dislike. During this time Elon is releasing propaganda talking points on his social media most of which are being disproven. Unfortunately the way information moves most people that see those talking points don't even realize they have been debunked.

The band of oligarchs standing behind Trump, the media bending the knee to Trump, not running certain stories, and making insane things sound more sane, should scare you. The US has lived under the thumbs of the robber barons before, and it was very bad for regular people. There is no scenario where the megalomaniacs are coming to help regular people. When they run out of money to extract from the dying middle class they will move onto subjugation and exploitation. Like they have always historically done. Citizens have never got freedom from oligarchs, they had to take it from them.
Well done, good sir.

I certainly don’t agree with everything he says, but it does give an interesting perspective on Trump voters

“So I get into it with a friend on another platform who keeps spewing the same propaganda as if anyone who voted for Trump lost their minds and rely on him like God to make our lives better. He also accused me of being willing to sidestep democracy to get the things I want.

I may have lost a friend, because my correction was as follows:

“You folks and your propaganda are nauseating. You think it’s about making my life better? It’s all about me?

You know what I wanted out of Trump?

The same damn thing I wanted out of Obama, Biden, Bush, Big Bush and and Clinton.

Those those things are the following

- Transparency
- A secure border
- Honesty
- Common sense leadership
- Doing exactly what you campaigned on
- A strong military
- An end to political indoctrination in our schools
- Respect for personal freedom
- And someone who would think about America first before giving everything to the world while his own people suffer.

Not one of them came through. Each one of them failed. Most didn’t even try. They just faked it well enough that you are still pining for their pipe dream. But guess who did come through? As flawed as he is as a person, it was freaking Trump. A man I was never a fan of personally but respect because he does the hell what he says he’s going to do or tries.

That’s what I voted for. Not some polished fake politician who pretends to be an angel but is doing the devils work as we are distracted by their platitudes and symbolic gestures that get us absolutely no where.

No one is side stepping democracy, genius. By the way, we don’t live in a democracy. We live in a constitutional republic.

But let’s go with your twisted idea of democracy.

Was it democracy when Biden coerced Big Tech into silencing millions of Americans for their opinions and thoughts?

Was it democracy when that old man lied to you and told you he didn’t know about his sons dealings and that the laptop didn’t exist? Because for many that may have changed their vote in the 2020 election if they knew then candidate Biden was compromised.

Was it democracy when he got 51 intelligence agents who we are supposed to trust, to go along with the lie and call it Russian disinformation?

Was it democracy to force people to choose between feeding their damn family and a damn shot in the arm that is causing damage to a lot of people?

Was it democracy when Biden flew in hundreds of thousands of migrants in the middle of the night without telling us and also opened the borders? Did we the American people have a say in that? No the heck we didn’t.

Was it democracy when if we question elections or vaccines that we get silenced and are forced to self sensor just to survive?

It that’s your democracy? You can keep that crap bro, respectfully.

Trump is no God or saint but it’s a damn shame it took a flawed man to do right by the American people. He’s showing you how corrupt your government truly is and I’m here for it. No regrets whatsoever.”

But here’s the deal. There’s absolutely nothing that Biden could have done to secure the border to satisfy you. Republicans obviously don’t care about liars because they elected Trump. I could go through this point by point.

In fact, it was while Biden was in office that a bi-partisan deal was made for securing the borders: and Trump blew it out of the waters.

Because Trump doesn't want secure borders. He wants a bumper sticker slogan.

And ROFLMAO that the OP wanted "honesty."
The more I thought of that the more it just blows my mind. How can anyone use honesty as a reason for supporting Trump? @RNHawk Did Trump lost the 2020 election? Did Biden rightfully get a majority of electoral votes, delivered by a majority of correctly cast and counted votes in the states he won? If you say no, where is your proof? If you say yes, how is Trump an honest man? How is he anything except a pathological liar?

Because it doesn't agree with your world view? Yeah, you shouldn't read it. BAU.

If honesty were the sole criteria, who is the more honest as a politician, Kamala or Trump? I don’t know either as a person neither do you. Who tells more lies? Who could look at Trump and say, there’s a straight shooter. There’s a guy who tells it like it is.

It was convenient to make a problem worse and then white knight the situation, but yes I agree Trump shouldn’t have blown it out of the water

You lost badly when you look at the amount of swing states Trump won

Make of this what you will. I have been wanting to play with these numbers a bit for fun.

Georgia:
Trump 2,663,117
Harris 2,548,017
Difference 115,100 votes or .02% of total votes in Georgia or 57,551 to flip the state

Michigan:
Trump 2,804,647
Harris 2,724,029
Difference 80,618 votes or .014% of total votes in Michigan or 40,320 to flip the state

Pennsylvania:
Trump 3,542,701
Harris 3,421,247
Difference 121,454 votes or .017% of votes in Pennsylvania or 60,728 to flip the state

Wisconsin:
Trump 1,697,626
Harris 1,668,229
Difference 29,397 or .0086% of total votes in Wisconsin or 14,699 to flip the state

The total difference on those four states is 346,569 or .002% of total nation votes excluding third party for this one, but it would lower that difference. Voter turnout in 2024 was fairly high at 63.9%. So Trump while getting 49.8% of the popular vote (not a majority) only received 37% of the vote of those eligible to vote.

So not really that badly. 173,285 votes in the right places would have swung the election the other way.

You do however support fraud as you keep lending Trump support. You have consented his crimes and ignored his felonious behavior.

You wanted an answer

Your first point. You don't support crypto. I am not just talking about crypto. I am talking about scam coins setup and advertised to Trump loyalists, who then invested into said coin, and then got scammed out of their money. Over 800,000 people were scammed out of money on that scam. I have also seen at least two multi billion dollar pump and dumps after the initial rug pull worth tens of billions of stolen money. These second pump and dumps I believe are purchased access as Trump and Friends own 80% of uncirculated supply. Why I find this interesting is that anyone from any nation that wants access could pump the coin, and Trump could swipe out enough share to be below traditional money laundering losses.

That alone makes your OP aka the interesting read completely irrelevant in my opinion. That's before going down the line on the milquetoast post.
