Getting out just ahead of the Dems taking control of the House.
Zinke got into a spat with the Dem who is going to oversee Interior a few weeks ago. Basically Zinke called him a drunk. Maybe he is, but it was a bad move.

I want to rejoice, but the truth is Trump will appoint whatever swamp creature that Big Energy tells him to. Think Andrew Wheeler, but less ethical. Nobody with a political future except from the reddest of states will want this job.

Here is an article with Zinke's comments about Democrat Raul Grijalva, who will have oversight of Interior in a few days. Grijalva has stated he had a problem with alcohol, but he has succeeded in beating his addiction. Maybe, maybe not. Bad move by Zinke to have gone this route. But, considering who he is, and the audience he was pandering to, this wasn't surprising.
