Interviews from today

I love everything about Cass. His outlook, his attitude, his optimism.
We're all wanting and expecting Lee to join this coaching staff in the future, but I also think it would be a big boost to keep Big Cass around the program as well.

4, 5, or 6 years down the road having him mat side coaching up the next group of upper weights? I love that thought too.

Who they going to replace to bring on Lee?

The NCAA seems to be reconsidering some of the “countable coaches” and permit director of operations and volunteer coaches to be able to have a more hands on coaching role. We will see how that trickles down from Football and MBB. The NCAA could never really monitor who is actually coaching but Moriah’s position and Luke Eustice before her were positions that don’t actually permit coaching. We shall see what the coaching staff structure is after Spencer and Cass are done competing. Will be a few years for both of them as both will do freestyle after graduation.
