Gotta appreciate the effort of the enthusiasm - even if its quite faked - about Iowa (& other teams) needing to do this or that for the Hawks to make the BTT this season.

I'd rather they didn't. Because that's at least one, if not two, more times I need to try and muster up the effort to care about things a tiny bit after the last regular season game.


Just let it mercifully end after @NEB two weeks from tomorrow and then we can move on to the important stuff - sitting around and waiting to see if Fran leaves or not.

Hawks should win at least 4 out of last 7, pick up a couple of wins in the Big 10 tournament, then a couple more in the NIT. I figure they finish with at least 22 wins on the season.

Fran will be back next year, minimum, and probably another after that. He is not retiring and he certainly won’t be fired….the Hawks could lose out and that wouldn’t happen.

Deserves a bumpity bump bump.
