Maryland needs two wins to be bowl eligible.
I hate to agree with you but I do, especially after seeing what happened to UCLA after our game with them etc. Been I die hard Hawk fan since back in the early 60's and have seen the good and bad. Really had high expecttations this season-its been tough. They play PSU, so they’re not getting 2 wins. This will be their senior day and last chance at a victory this season. Given how Iowa has performed on the road as of late, I would say this game is a toss up, with slight edge to the Terps.
Until Iowa shows anything on the road, this is unfortunately correct. Minnesota is the last time Iowa was respectable on the road, and that feels like eons ago and was ironically the game I said I am done with Kirk. They play PSU, so they’re not getting 2 wins. This will be their senior day and last chance at a victory this season. Given how Iowa has performed on the road as of late, I would say this game is a toss up, with slight edge to the Terps.
If they do this, they'll be trying way too hard. A guy whose job is to cue up film and buy lunches for the important assistant coaches is a complete non-factor in preparation and on game day.Considering the Iowa QB situation, the "Kirk vs. Brian" storyline will be a welcome distraction.
It's November, can't watch the corn grow anymore, so they gotta write about somthin' 🙃If they do this, they'll be trying way too hard. A guy whose job is to cue up film and buy lunches for the important assistant coaches is a complete non-factor in preparation and on game day.
If Hawks do not win Saturday, it’s 6-6 and “who would have thunk it”?Iowa gives me zero confidence on the road.
Don’t forget his legendary time management skills. And BF on the other side will be filling in the Maryland team with all his inside info. He is the definition of analyst in every sense of the word.I am sure Ferentz will give Maryland a dose of his game management and scheming wizardry.
You'll have to admit thats alot like what goes on here on this forum. Quite often people trying too hard to make something into a story thats not there..If they do this, they'll be trying way too hard. A guy whose job is to cue up film and buy lunches for the important assistant coaches is a complete non-factor in preparation and on game day.
I think Iowa was respectable at UCLA.Until Iowa shows anything on the road, this is unfortunately correct. Minnesota is the last time Iowa was respectable on the road, and that feels like eons ago and was ironically the game I said I am done with Kirk.
As usual, you have no clue.I think Iowa was respectable at UCLA.
And UCLA was playing much better as of late at home. The Washington loss was a road game where the Huskies haven't lost in almost three years. The Terps are neither of those teams...I think Iowa was respectable at UCLA.
The first sentence is spot on. Hope you're just being sarcastic with the second sentence, because otherwise you would just be a hater. There's no way you could know what his job is. A televised game early in the season showed him working with the OL on the sidelines. I don't care enough about Maryland football to try to learn whether that is a typical game-day assignment. If they do this, they'll be trying way too hard. A guy whose job is to cue up film and buy lunches for the important assistant coaches is a complete non-factor in preparation and on game day.
Very similar situation to UCLA, had not been playing well-long travel distance and so on. Many including me thought the Hawks would beat UCLA. Now with Marylands Sr. day and still fighting for a Bowl this could be really tough. They play PSU, so they’re not getting 2 wins. This will be their senior day and last chance at a victory this season. Given how Iowa has performed on the road as of late, I would say this game is a toss up, with slight edge to the Terps.
Did they say “thanks for the kick in the balls” afterwards?I think Iowa was respectable at UCLA.
