You always hear about underground musicians who are known as "your favorite rapper's favorite rapper" or your "favorite band's favorite band"

Sydney feels like "your favorite player/coach's favorite player"

I have loved her game for 2 years now. Just so gritty and can score when she's confident. Doesn't need a single set run for her.

She turned in a fabulous performance. And after that scorching start, she never forced a single shot and became a playmaker and driver. She's been a rebounding machine all along, but last night she rose to another level as an offensive force on the road against a good Michigan team. Syd's performance is one more reason this Iowa team is headed for a marvelous March.

Syd has turned it on in the second half of the season. Syd seemed lost at the beginning of the year without CC, but has definitely found her groove. She is one of my favorite players to cheer for. Love her work ethic!!

Syd had knee surgery in the fall, and it took a while to get rolling. She is playing awesome now.

That is insane! Those types of numbers makes me think she can hang in the wnba. She has the drive, work ethic, and uncanny ability to be at the right place at the right time.

She’s had 51 rebounds in the last 4 games alone, yikes!!!

On the Will the officiating ever get better note. I don’t remember it being heavily discussed in the game thread partially because at that time I think people were busy hating on Hannah and I’m not trying to be a jerk. I’m really not, but that charge, early in the fourth quarter was absolutely hideous.

She never even took a step, the girl ran up under her as she was catching the ball with her head turned, she git the ball did a half turn and a side dribble, and the girl launched herself backwards.

I just don’t get what these people see. There was literally no movement forward.
