Very good win but I was swearing in the third quarter. Ava performed as I thought she would given a chance. Still do not understand how AOG ever is first in at the 5, but just MO.
Ava played terrific and very hard. She has a puppy dog enthusiasm
You should listen to Rob and Kathryn.
Good insights and even handed. They give the opponents their due.
Great road win for the ladies. Syd and Lucy were spectacular, particularly in the first half. Ava got a chance and was ready. Kylie was very good tonight, maybe one of her better games.
That UCLA game would have definitely made it much more doable

We are 7-2 last 6 w/wins vs 6 Tourney teams, a maybe tourney team, Washington and losses in OT to #8 on the road and a 2 point loss to #4 AT home.
After being out scored by 9 & giving up 25 in the 3rd we clamped down & held them to 10 in the 4th. @Franisdaman got any stats on our 4th Qtr D the last 9? It seems like it’s always good?

Unfortunately, I don't think Syd would be eligible next year as she missed the Covid year cutoff by one year and hasn't had a medical or standard redshirt year. Ironically, Kylie is one year older and can return next year as she's eligible for the Covid year and took a medical redshirt year.
We stomped the life out of their 2, 3 & 4 players. KF must have been on Olsen a lot, she averages 16.3 & she had 7 & only shot 9 times. WOW! THATS how you play defense, keep them from even shooting. Olsen averages 12.7 shots & hasn’t shot less than 10 since 12/17 vs OU.
Those 3 players average 40 between them and only had 20..yikes. We have not seen an Iowa women’s bball team play defense like this since C Vivian was here & Kylie is special. I think she can defend the 1, 2, 3 and most 4s 6-2 and under, she is a demon!!!!

Not sure if Kylie is interested in coming back? I know this ruffles some people's feathers, but I would like Jensen to have a heart-to-heart with Gyamfi after the season and use her scholarship on a portal transfer. Gyamfi is obviously a team player and is well liked, but hasn't played meaningful minutes in her entire career.
I’ll be candid here, it doesn’t ruffle my feathers, I just don’t see it happening 🤷♂️ I mean maybe, but I think what bothers people is, for whatever reason, she’s seems to be the team Avatar
There are open roster spots available for a couple transfers without running anyone off.
Hopefully that they want to be part of the program.
So after a comfortable win, what was everyone’s thoughts on Swords? She’s special and looks like a 16 year old. She doesn’t have CCs deep range or full court vision and passing ability but she’s going to be a superstar! I’m a fan!!! We dominated their other 2 stud freshmen!
Not necessary.. Iowa doesn’t need the space next year. They have 3 open scholarships.. 2 if Feuerbach returns.
I never saw her come back on. I just saw her by the hoop holding the mike.
