Nebraska is dysfunctional...looking forward to seeing Armstrong's poor throwing mechanics.

He will look like Marino for 1 game.....guess which one?
Wrong.Am expecting a large Hawkeye invasion for that game. Nebraska having their worst season in decades and Iowa having their best will translate to many Husker fans selling their tickets.
Wrong.
It will be the most opposing fans in the history of Memorial Stadium!
Agreed, I will be shocked if there is more Iowa fans this year than in years past. The MSU win helped inject our program with excitement. If Iowa is coming to Lincoln undefeated it will be a fantastic atmosphere.Nebraska fans are feeling a little confident now coming off two wins and the injury issues finally seeming to lessen.
Iowa will have a lot of fans in the stadium, but I don't know if there will be many more than have made it inside the last two trips to Lincoln
The biggest Iowa game since...?
Ohio State 2010 in Iowa City? Penn State 2009 in Happy Valley?

I don't think confident is the word to describe red fans. Since the win over Sparty I would describe it more has hopeful or less depressed.
The red will fill their seats (at least most of them) at the start of the game, but there will be a good number of Black and Gold. If Iowa has a big lead at the half and the weather isn't great, Iowa fans will outnumber the red in the second half and increasingly so as the game goes on.

I think Nebraska will be able to move the ball on Iowa pretty well. Iowa's defense has loosened up just a little in the past few weeks against Minnesota and Indiana. The question is, can Nebraska stop the Iowa offense? They are pretty efficient and move the ball very well when they have to.
Being in Omaha, I think I'd describe it as "Wow, we suck, but wouldn't it be funny if we ruined both MSU and Iowa's chances at the playoffs?"I don't think confident is the word to describe red fans. Since the win over Sparty I would describe it more has hopeful or less depressed.

I had somebody tell me today that CJB isn't that good and that is a reason why Nebraska will win. I kept my mouth shut, CJB really hasn't had to throw the ball a lot this year. No reason to when you're rushing for 200+ yards. If Nebraska can stop the run, I will be interested in seeing what CJB does if he has to throw it 40-50 times. He definitely can make plays in the passing game and has a cannon for an arm.
My recommendation is that you don't let Nebraska win. I know that's a tough pill to swallow, but taking one for the team is the best play here. Disagree with it all your fans want too. I will enjoy reading that part. Fact is, do not try to win this game.Nebraska fans are feeling a little confident now coming off two wins and the injury issues finally seeming to lessen.

Should be interesting....
Nebraska fans and their local sports radio guys are very confident they will win this game for a variety of reasons. Tommy Armstrong's game is keeping the play alive then chucking it deep, so it should be interesting. I am also interested in seeing how Iowa can run the ball. Iowa has played better on the road this year than at home, so that is also another factor I am looking forward to.
Armstrong's legs won't be a factor I think. Iowa's D has done a pretty good job on not letting dual-threat QB's beat them with their legs (Roberson, Hills, NW's QB, etc.), they've been forced to beat us with their arms. Then again, someone, when it matters, decides to play like a NFL HOFer against Iowa, so we will see.Should be interesting....

No he won't. I hope he is his usual turnover machine self...
