If Michigan State beats Indiana at EL as they should, and if Iowa manages to escape Minny in Iowa City, the Hawkeyes are back in the driver's seat with at least a one game lead on everyone. No, it won't be easy, but the Hawkeyes should once again have a clear path to an undisputed Big Ten title. It's time to pick it up and get back to the steady and efficient play that got the Hawks here in the first place.

Let's hope the boys can match the intensity they had in the first ten games. Lately we've looked pretty average, regardless if the games we lost were road games. Iowa kicked butt at MSU and Purdue but lately, they seem to be coasting.

I wouldn't say we're coasting. Yes, we lost two away games in tough arenas to very good teams, but we blasted NW, PSU and Illinois as we should have. We knew winning the Big Ten wouldn't be easy, but if we continue to beat the teams we should, we'll be more than fine.

Maryland going down tonight was shocking....who'da thunk that a year ago with regards to Wisconsin. Go Hawks!

One game at a time. Let's just take care of business against the Goophers and then take it from there. This season has been so much fun. Hopefully Jok comes back with a nice game tomorrow after a tough game against Indy. Don't overlook the rodents, just stomp on them and put them out of their misery.

I think they can get their mojo back. But everyone on this board who played sports (or has experienced success in other ways) knows, that getting to the top is hard - but staying there is even harder.

There are no gimme's in the B1G. I love our position at this point and wouldn't have believed we would have been here when the year began. Just really enjoying the ride.

As we all know, college basketball is a marathon. Iowa got out front and has stayed there despite some others catching up a bit and Iowa's pace faltering. But we're in the home stretch now, so it's time to reassert Iowa's dominance and move into that closing kick. Started strong. Now it's time to finish strong. That's what champions do. The ball, literally, is in Iowa's court. How bad do the Hawkeyes want to make history?

Get the energy and swagger back and make it happen. The Hawkeyes have done too many great things to let the title slip away now.

Just win baby

Another thing is........Winning against Minnesota give IOWA Win #20 on the year.
20 wins is still the benchmark, for getting in the Dance. This year, it's a foregone conclusion,
it seems, but many fans questioned this team, before the season began.
Oh ye, of little faith. Have faith, Hawkeye brethren!

#goHawks
