Too bad this year's tourney was in Bloomington. Would've been fun for the team to win it in Omaha in front of a big Iowa crowd.
I can't believe the start Robison gave Iowa. I was hoping for four or five innings and maybe giving up three runs.
I had thought that too. However, Iowa up and down the lineup has played this game today with a purpose. Unfinished business from last year.
I'm just glad it didn't take God so long to decide today to not hate us...

This is a really sweet feeling as a fan who has followed Iowa baseball forever. I remember some horrendous years under Jack Dahm where I wondered if Iowa would ever be relevant.

Thanks to everyone for their updates, very fun to read, I was out working on pitching and hitting with my boy. It was great to come home and read the Hawks won. Go Hawks!
Or go back even farther to good ole - dang now I forget. He was Lutes? assistant in Basketball I think and eventually a big shot in Big Ten or Big 8. Memories coming - he replaced Lute, I think too.
