Iowa Baseball @ B1G Tournament

4 hours 57 minutes. So what is the bigger disadvantage, Iowa playing 13 innings tonight or the winner of northwestern Maryland having to play back to back

Game was 4:47 long, it was scheduled to start in the AM but the mn/in game took too long so they pushed back both games (from what I could tell), then the maryland/indiana game before this one went to extras, now this game pushed the maryland/indiana elimination game to tomorrow AM, so the winner of that plays a double header. We should be better rested, hopefully that stunts some of their bats because they have big ones.

Congrats to the Hawks...but trying to follow this game via the posts here since I am nowhere near a TV was confusing. How long did this game last? I thought they were scheduled to play this morning.

Thanks to the posters that kept the story going and congrats again to the Hawks...super win!
We lost the morning game, requiring the PM if-necessary game. 22 innings total.

Northwestern and Maryland both scare me offensively regardless. Hoscheit from NW is as dangerous as they come. They just got underway and from what it sounds like, the title game is 40 min after this game ends.

As far as arms available...
-Robison
-Ritter
-Guys like Norman, Leonard would be but they are sparingly used to say the least.
-McDonald, Nelson are also probably available for some work.
-If we need say one out or two outs, it wouldn't surprise me to see Martsching for a situational outing as well.

It's definitely going to be interesting to see what Iowa does.

Maryland bringing in their stud closer Selmer, guy is a stud and has only thrown sparingly. I had concerns about him starting a title game...

I suppose Judkins is also an option to pitch for Iowa. He was decent the first part of the year, but has really struggled as of lately. So IDK, if Heller would use him.

Sorry to have to ask this, but Iowa should be playing shortly, right? Who is carrying the game on TV?
