Iowa heads north for two games vs Nebby and two vs tOSU. Iowa started the year a woeful 1-3. Starting pitching has got to be better. Iowa plays a lot of early games this week. They play tOSU at 11am Friday, Nebby 9am Saturday, tOSU 12pm Saturday, and Nebraska 2pm Sunday. This weekend will give us a good idea I think of how the season will go.

Excellent outing by Iowa today, especially pitching. Wallace is turning into a high K guy, which I love. He has 10 Ks and just 2 BB today in six innings. I’ll take that every outing. Offense was still shaky. Iowa has a few opportunities for two out hits that would’ve put up crooked numbers.

Iowa will have their hands full against Nebraska in the morning. After struggling last year during the shortened season, it appears they’ve put things together by adding some college transfers and additions from high schools. They seem very dangerous offensive.

So Nebby at 9am tomorrow then tOSU at 1pm.

One error led to three runs being allowed. Iowa’s offense has been underwhelming. Guys like Fullard, Martin, and Norman have been no shows this year. Time to turn that around, but can’t dig too deep of a hole.

Heller pretty much says it all in post game comments. Sounds like he’s saying what the hell is going on? @funnyfletcher is right that this is Dahm era bad at times, but Dahm doesn’t hold Hellers jock strap. Heller would absolutely get a pass for a bad year with what he had done at Iowa.

Yeah it seemed like Dahm was a decent recruiter but nobody could get any extra base hits when he was the coach. That changed when Heller got here. Rough start to the year this year, but there's a lot of solid guys in the lineup, they could get it turned around.
