Iowa board

It's why Iowa and their fans are so envied by college wrestling fans across the country. Probably another reason why there are so many programs around the US that have Iowa alumni coaching at their schools in some capacity.

Iowa still trails OSU in team titles, but there can be little doubt who you think about when you think about COLLEGE WRESTLING.

Actually RedbirdHawk set the Standard. These guys are just trainees. But since they're Hawk Fans that's way up there on the scale of PBP anyways.

Ah yes. I remember him well. Speaking of, whatever happened to Redbird?

It's especially helpful when pbp folks let us know who is in the hole. On deck I got but not sure where info on who is in the hole is displayed.

I remember following RedBirdHawk's PBP back in the day. There was a little bit of "jumping in early" that didn't go over well. He is the true Jedi master and the rest of us are Padawans.

The Jedi Master (or Dark Lord) for emojis is another story altogether.

I agree the pbp was awesome. I did not get to watch so I came to the board now and again to read about matches. Thanks guys!

On track there is a button that says depth just click that and it lets you put in 1-5 for the amount of up coming matches. But even if you put 5 in it only shows the next 3.

I'm understand and have heard that lots of people come by after the matches to read the PBP to see what they missed (and I have done this myself a time or two).

I had to kill an hour in downtown CR this fall. I happened upon an establishment that was replaying the Iowa / Iowa St. dual (on CycloneTV?) and I pulled up my PBP thread and delightfully watched/read. Which I will admit was cool/nerdy at the same time.

I think that it only shows three because the tournament director only schedules matches three deep at a mat. From my experience of running wrestling tournaments, if you do many more than that, the tournament gets way out of whack.
