I've mentioned this a few times before, but the NCAA needs to devise a CBA and let the students unionize.
A salary cap must be put in place, and it should be based on which conference it is.
Obviously the MBB P5 (B10/SEC/B12/ACC/BE) conferences will fall into the highest range of salary cap...(~$5-6M per program to start, then probably going up ~$300K per year thereafter)...with the other conference (AAC/MW/etc.) conferences at ~$2M.
Either fans step up big time, or Iowa desperately needs to find a sugar-daddy ...or it won't be able to compete moving forward.
I hope Ben can put a competitive team together with the $5M payroll
