Iowa Home Attendance at a Record Setting Pace

Quick, clean writing by @RossWB as he explains what Iowa has to do to break their average attendance record. it will help to know how many people are going to be allowed to attend the dual on Friday.

To date, Iowa is averaging an eye-popping 11,839 fans per dual with three more big ones yet to occur. For a frame of reference over the last four years, Iowa has averaged anywhere from 8,300 to 9,000 fans (rounded), with the exceptions being 2016’s breakout year of 12,166.

Iowa needs to draw 10,296 fans next Sunday Night to set a new single season attendance record. The attendance was 10,466 for Chattanooga.

Pretty impressive dual attendance this season not to mention ISU had over 10000 also. Just shows how much wrestling is part of Iowa culture and for a state of 3.5 million that's incredible.
