We have Kael V. to use for a few duals too.Last time we can use Estrada without burning his redshirt. Hopefully we’re at full strength next week.
I do not think it will be that close.Let's see
125 wbd 3-0
133 lbd 3-3
141 lbd 3-6
149 wbd 6-6
157 lbd 6-9
165 wbmd 10-9
174 wbd 13-9
184 wbd 16-9
197 wbmd 20-9
HW lbd 20-12
Gotta win 2 of 3 at 125,133,184 or it could be puckered b-hole time.
Illinois has been pretty underwhelming in the two matches I've seen of theirs. Ayala-Bird is clearly the marquee match of the dual. Webster didn't look good at all vs D'Emilio. The Braunagels are pigeons. They're OK, but they're both guys good wrestlers beat. Ruth is a good test for Gabe as a returning AA, but Gabe should be able to handle him pretty routinely. Luffman-Kueter is another good test for your young guys, but Kueter should be able to take advantage of his advantage in athleticism in this one.sneaky great dual! illinois has a bunch of guys who can push our big guns.
Ayala-Byrd has NCAA finals potential
Webster is a talented youngster
Little Braunagel is tough
So is big Braunagel, but Buchanan feels out of his league
Arnold-Ruth probably a true toss up. First real test for Gabe at 184
Luffman has shown he can go with top guys on occasion.
I’d favor Illinois at 141 and 157 too.
Yes KV is probably just above him in the pecking order. Love KVs attack rate.We have Kael V. to use for a few duals too.
How close do you think it'll be?I do not think it will be that close.
3 am on btnI may not be able to watch live tonight. Is the replay available later tonight on BTN or BTN plus?

Major for Cruz. Ayala beats Byrd on a great snap down to a leg. Tough finish.Updates please?
Won 13-3, could've probably got one more takedown at the end as well.Updates please?
Nice!!! Thank You!Cruz won 13-3, Drake wins 4-2
Ryder has the skill, but doesn’t have the juice at 141. Needs to go 149 or 57 next year.
Everything is so straight on for Block and he’s so tall he can’t get underneath anybody straight on. Extremely limited offensively right now.
Not nearly explosive enough to run through guys with blast doubles like he did in high school. Has to learn to find angles.
