Iowa goes to Indiana who has had a week off and they have an explosive offense. I expect Indiana will throw in some wrinkles and Kevin Wilson will definitely be a riverboat gambler. Iowa will need to play extremely well. The pressure is on them, if Iowa gets past this game then you have to feel good about Indianapolis. Indiana is 100% comfortable outscoring a team than playing defense. The run has been fun so far for Iowa, but given our history in Bloomington and Kirk's history against Indiana. I think Iowa loses....

Indiana - 38
Iowa - 35

35-24 Hawks. Iowa has been in the lead or has had control in every game this year, but this game they could easily have to play from behind. Or it could be Iowa builds a lead and Indiana storms back to make it close late.

Iowa will be around a 15-16 pt favorite at Indy (not that it guarantees anything obviously)

Shocking prediction.

Iowa: 52
Indiana: 13

Beathard will keep sandbagging it until the Nebraska game where he'll rush for over 200, but Wadley and Lewis combine for 384.

I love how worked up people get about this guy's post each week. I guess I don't know the whole back story, but it seems like he's either just doing it to get a rise out of people, or maybe he's superstitious and thinks (incorrectly) that by predicting losses each week he is causing the Hawks to keep winning. Either way I'm not going to get too worked up about it.

I know you pretty much do this for effect...because I can't believe anyone could be as pessimistic as you show every week.

Just to help you. Iowa has beaten IU 5 out of the last 6. By an average score of 36-20.

Granted none of that has any bearing on this years game. But saying given "our history" shows you to be wrong yet again.

Iowa has won 5 of last 6 against Indiana ... and two of last three in Bloomington.

Iowa will score at least 30 on the Hooiser's and I doubt they can do the same against the Iowa defense in return.

"Our history in Bloomington", let me know what year was the last time an Iowa team that finished with a winning record lost in Bloomington. I'll wait.

A healthy Beathard and this game is no contest, but with Beathard being about 70% (IMO) it can go either way. Indiana can score on anybody and with another DE probably out for the game, I'm not holding my breath on a win. I'm going to say 31-30 Iowa but if we get behind early, Beathard is in no condition to bring us back. Should be a good one to watch.
