I think we could be in the top 15 for sure if we are 4-0; all depends on how we look, who else loses, etc....

yikes....the last time we won in Columbus was Nov 2, 1991 (score was 16-9)

Kirk has been close in columbus a couple of times but just couldnt get it done, maybe went conservative,etc

I see Illinois state and Troy as easy wins. The rest I don't feel comfortable with until I see that our offense has actually improved. Call me skeptical, but I would see a 6 win year a possibility. I think the ceiling is at 9. I think we lose at least to OSU, Washington and UCLA. Wisconsin and Michigan State are toss ups for me.

Wash. lost their coaches, I heard they lost a lot of starters including a top QB, the game is in kinnick so I think Iowa wins that game. I think Nebby might be pretty good by end of the season and MSU has been a train wreck with another new coach so I would swap those two as toss ups. But Nov is a long ways away and we might be pleasantly surprised by our offense

I hope we can average better than that this year, or guaranteed that number hangs out there and is discussed.

If the hawks score 25+ a game I think they are probably 11-1 or 10-2 again. But sometimes a great defense also doesnt get the turnovers they usually do etc

I kept saying that and it always seemed to do so game after game. I was like WTF? How can you not implement plays and concepts into the offense and use both qb’s after each game. It was clearly the definition of insanity doing the same things over and over expecting different results.

it will be really interesting to see what Lester does in the opening games (or should I say, what he's allowed to do). in the past, even in a blow out, if the Iowa QB was healthy, he would rarely miss a snap

We get up by say 21 in that first game. Cade should sit rest of way and let the backup dude go in and play.

Marco must have felt okay with how spring went as he did not bolt into the portal. I am sure Lester had told him they would look for another QB in the portal.
