Has anyone watched Richmond?

what's the scouting report?
I went to the game when they lost to Drake. They looked ok, nothing special. Their best player is Burton, a 6'7" guy who's pretty athletic. Overall not that scary though, I'd think the Hawks win comfortably.

IDC who comes out of that Providence/SDSU game.

If the Iowa Hawkeyes that went 12-2 in their last 14 games - while winning 4 games in 4 days to win the BTT - is the one who shows up in Buffalo later this upcoming week, their moving on to Chicago the following week.

Book it.

From a predictive analytics stand point, Iowa’s draw is very favorable. They are -10 over Richmond, decent favorite over either Providence/SDSU, and only small dogs to Kansas/Auburn if it plays out that way.

I’m not one to say something like Sweet 16 or busy but…..this team has a legit superstar, who will also be a lottery pick, and a very solid supporting cast. Plus they are playing phenomenally.

I see an early line of Iowa-10

Providence will lose to SDSU….mark it down.

When you break down the 4 teams in Buffalo, NY, what do you see and think?

Richmond had to beat Davidson today just to be at this point.

Also, as you can see below...

Coming into today, Quad 1 Records:
5-3: Providence
0-2: S Dakota State

3-6: Iowa
0-2: Richmond

And which of these 4 teams will head to the Sweet 16 in Chicago? :)

Whatever Fran is drawing up, and how the guys are playing as a unit, I know that if they maintain that level of consistency, we could really enjoy what may be ahead. Teams are pumped to be in the position that they are, but some may tire a bit? Either way, this is so much fun to be a part of.

today, he knew he had kids with tired legs and he played 14 players. All of them contributed. Fran seems to be pushing all the right buttons right now.

This is my prediction, after watching some of Richmond's games I'll guarantee you that Joe Toussaint will be a major factor in Iowa winning this game. Richmond's little point guard is extremely good and if left alone will bury any shot he takes from anywhere on the court. Slippery is how I describe him.
Iowa needs for Joe to stick to him like glue without fouling, no other guard on Iowa will be able to keep up with him.
