The boys played great tonight! Two freshmen over 20, win on top 20 opponent's court. Badgerland. Let's skin the Lions and win a couple in the BTT!

Barring a title run the NCAAs are out of the question but this is probably a more talented team than the one that made the run to the NIT Finals.

I'd like to be optimistic, but this version of Iowa is t ready to win in a hostile road environment far from home.

I think Iowa will get off to its characteristic slow start, battle back, but eventually fall by double digits.

Life on the road in the Big 10 is brutal. Hell, Wisconsin kinda got smoked in Columbus by a sub-par Buckeye team this week.

This teams is improving. With freshman they will have ups and downs. What I loved was this team was able to win on the road w/out Jok scoring 30+. This team is coming together and if we see even minor improvements from everyone they are going to be a solid team next year! GO HAWKS!

I think our biggest challenge will be to see if we can score more points than they do. When we're able to do that, our success rate has been well above 50%

Asked my wife what she thought the chances of winning were when you score more points than they do...she never watches basketball...but was pretty sure that it was way more rhan just 50%. I agreed that most often when you outscore the other team you usually win 100% of the time.

Iowa has to take it at Maryland in the paint. Maryland has a thin frontcourt and if Iowa can attack down low, that will open the jump shots later in the game.
