Martin was invited to the BBQ this weekend but I did not see him in the group photo. He may be looking to Wiscy or MSU since we were the 4th to offer in the BIG.

I think he'll be Hawk! Iowa City kid, Hawk fan, offer in hand - Lombardi's moved in, had a tough go in Cedar Rapids - easier for him to look outside the state. But, of course, only the staff and prospect know the conversations that go on between the two parties. I hope if the Hawks truly want him he'll be a Hawk.

He feels pressure staying in state and playing for Iowa so he is very open to playing out of state somewhere. Oregon just offered. Don't like a kid saying he feels pressure to play at Iowa. That's not a good reason to stay here.

Martin's sister recently competed in the USA Olympic Swim Trials. She finished 4th in her race (breast stroke), which had her just miss the Olympic Team. Pretty impressive for a junior in high school.
