NDSU offers a challenge that will wonderfully prepare the Hawks for the game against Rutgers. Rutgers arguably has "more talent" than NDSU ... but they simply don't know yet how to win.

Chris Ash is more of a defense-oriented guy ... so their initial philosophy will likely be to run the ball and develop a strong enough defense to limit the opposition. That's a good formula ... only Iowa will have faced a more formidable running attack in NDSU.

The main thing to look for in the Rutgers game is that it is our first away game. That always leads with it, its own set of challenges. Typically, for a team like Iowa seems to be ... the away-game setting will usually lead the squad to have even more focus.
