Super happy to hear that DickieV beat cancer. He's a 'face of the game' I've been a huge fan of for the past 25 years. A true ambassador for the sport.
I will say I'm not the biggest fan of his usual on-air demeanor - at least pre-cancer - but GD do I hope his picks for this Tournament are spot on. Well, except for the National Title Game, of course.
Spring break is this week so no students for me. I foresee basketball all day Thursday. I’m going to try and make the womens game Friday.
An early Thursday 5v12 game is the ultimate kiss of death especially after winning the conference tournament.

This coming Thursday & Friday are the two most unproductive workdays in the year and the two slowest days for network access.
Our depth and let me emphasize QUALITY depth as evidenced today should help immensely and fortunately Richmond also played 4 games in 4 days.
TruTV/USA/TNT/CBS broadcasts games all simultaneously we are slotted on TruTv. Can probably stream it but no we aren't on CBS.
Today's game was impressive. Shoot poorly the whole game (except Payton). Bigs in foul trouble early against a team with monsters in the middle. Get hammered on the boards. Playing in front of a partisan crowd. Not many breaks from the zebras. Yet we still win by 9.

I plan to sign up for the sling tv blue free trial on Thursday (3 days free) then cancel after the iowa games.

It has been tough to be a Hawkeye hoops fan since 1999, but we love em and are still always with them. This team is on a mission and breaking through to the 2nd weekend would mean so much for the program and our fanbase!
This. After this weekend, this group is SO focused that 4 days will seem like an eternity. They'll be ready to go on Thursday for sure!
