I said I agree in principle. Children don’t belong at drag shows. But it becomes a slippery slope when it’s not clearly defined. For example, one of the teachers at my school is a transgender man. Since he went from female to male it’s probably not as big of an issue in some people’s minds compared to the alternative, but you can see where I am going with this.

There is nothing suggestive or sexual about anything he does. He’s a normal human being and a good teacher. If we were in Iowa, would this bill open the door for him to be targeted simply because he’s a transgender man and a teacher?

It’s an interesting trend. The youth go female to male. The older go male to female. I have my speculations why that is…but I’ll save it for another day.
