Like you'd give a shit if Iowa had that same success the last five years doing it the same way. You wouldn't.
Clone fans were great at tossing rocks from their high horse from 2002-2005 and all of a sudden they have gone silent.
Why is that?
Prohm being a religious guy better say his prayers that Morris doesn't leave early because year after could be pretty rough if he does. 2 years in a row lost their pg recruit. Lost real good juco pf to St. John's and end up with a class of 4 spots now down to 2. With Ernst no big offers and last minute signee from former smu recruit. He really better enjoy next yr cause could be real rough after that.
Iowa state went 2005-2006 iowa this last year. The year before they lost to uconn. Kept on reading about how they were a final four team. They underachieved te last two years but the media gives them no pass. No excuse to lose to uab when you are 14 point favorites and all the national media says they are going to final four.
The year before they lost to the NCAA champion so a lot of other teams lost to U Conn, too. ISU certainly did not underachieve last year but for three games that they had won and lost by 1 point in the final milliseconds of the game. I'm sure Iowa has a few of those heart breaking head scratchers as well. It certainly doesn't define a team's entire season. You don't end up the season ranked #9 by underachieving to much and ISU has continuously been in the mid to upper Top 25 for most if not all of the last two seasons.
Looks like Prohm cut him loose. Don't blame him. He needs to figure his life out and that's more important than basketball. Prohm doesn't need that headache especially when he didn't even recruit him.

Fair points but when the national media says iowa state to the final four and they are 14 point favorites vs uab, there is no excuse to lose to uab. They did not get the job done.In the last minute vs uab when their season was on the line, they chocked. Iowas 2005-2006 season was very similar to iowa state 2014-2015.

Do you not know what "thug" means? It doesn't mean being immature and making mistakes. I can't think of a second (or third) chance transfer that truly backfired on Hoiberg. Jones, last year, sort of, but he wasn't doing anything thuggish. He was just being a shitty neighbor in an apartment complex. Very few "thugs" have come through either Iowa or ISU athletics.
Just ignore Kenny Pratt. Just ignore Jason Berryman. I can site others but you get a the drift.

It just invites unwanted attention from the dumb section of ISU fans who aren't made to feel welcome to post here (as opposed to the respectable section of ISU fans who are tolerated like a minor fungal skin condition that can be dealt with using over-the-counter treatments).
isu and its fans get treated exactly how they deserve to be treated both here and in the world in general. They act like douches and wonder why the world treats them that way.
I don't see any OTC cure for that.
