I can't complain about that. He was stalling his ass off.
Those were all well deserved imo the ref just hasn't been consistent to this point so all the calls stand out I think

Correct. it is absolutely amazing how in a sport where you get to pick a starting position people don't choose to start in their best position.
Dare i say this ref is more inconsistent than Angel? Jacori with 3 take downs, hit 3 times for stalling. Jap for OSU couldn’t even move for 7 minutes, couldn’t find the line, took his headgear off 3 times and 1 stall call the entire match.
I got no problem with the Teemer on the mat call, but how isn’t that called more than once when the OSU kid did it for a full 2 minutes against Parco?
And Teemer is constantly backing up…once momentum in a match turns, it looks like stalling
Yes, but thought they were pretty quick stall calls given some he's let slide for OSU
Been that way at nationals for Iowa too most years outside of Lee.

This ref is clearly delaying calling stalling on okie and banging us early, then I realized this was one of the anti Hawk guys from the nationals the last few years

I didn't agree with the second one. At least if you are going to call that I think you could of hit OSU in the first period of the Parco match.
Carter Young has wrestled 75 matches prior to tonight in college. He's only been bonused 5 times. Henson pinned him this year. Jordan Williams majored him last year and 2 years ago he was pinned by Kazmir from Columbia and majored by Real Woods and Andrew Alirez. You can't just look at the dude's record and ranking and assume he should be bonused.
Yep. And the ref with the OSU chest tattoo rings you up for stalling on bottom while your shoulder is ripped apart. Adding insult to injury.
Parco did the same thing for the entire 2nd period. Not called a stall.
Did you see 33 and 49, they have to be consistent at least!!!
Teemer not getting nf is ridiculous
When's the last time we had a ref that favored the Hawks at home? A lot of Iowa wrestling haters out there.
Def should have chose neutral but Teemer usually has no problem getting off bottom
I had concerns when he went armadillo ball form after the false start.
Referee is consistent in calls favoring Pokes. But consistent none the less.
The problem is the ref has to verbally announce control before swipes and osu was able to shift out of criteria in that window. I think that was the right scoring on the sequence with that in mind.
