Iowa vs Wisconsin

After these last few games Wisconsin has actually looked pretty good… I originally thought it would be an easier game but now not so sure … now thinking this game could be a tight game as they look much better now as they’re running the ball more so now I am thinking it’s going to be a close one … is Day changing the offensive scheme now?

Watching badgers yesterday it is clear they are sticking to the wide open bombs away style of offense that fickell brought from cincy.

Locke, the backup transfer qb from miss st that Iowa beat last year was throwing 5-6 bombs in 1st half.
And completed a few.

They look dangerous to me.

It's going to be a good game, but Wisconsin has to worry about a NW team this weekend who is playing better, and they're traveling to Evanston. Then they host #3 Penn State. Then they come to Iowa City. I like how this game sets up for us.

I don't see Northwestern or Wisconsin stopping our run game. If our OL stays relatively healthy now.

If Iowa plays like they did on the line play against any of the remaining schedule they will win out hands down…

If Iowa can get it's passing game to continue to come around ... and as the secondary continues to improve ... Wisconsin can have their finesse. I'm not convinced that it's sustainable when the midwestern late-fall winds blow.

I really think UWash has about the same type and same level of offense as Wisky, maybe Wash a bit better.

If the hawks can beat MSU and jNW and be on a roll and getting the offense timing even better I think we beat Wisky .

I agree I was really surprised at the Wisky Rutgers score. But then Rutgers and Maryland seem to crash and burn once October in the Big Ten comes around.
