Iowa hadn’t HEARD from Harping until she requested the visit for the USC game. Hopefully we have a shot now.

On 2… Chastain’s twitter feed is crazy amount Hawkeyes obviously with having a visit but it’s overloaded now!

4 & 5.. Always got the vibe that we had a better shot at Woliczko than Bjorn(could be completely wrong).. I wonder if Woliczko didn’t just have surgery if she would’ve been their Sunday.

McKenna's dad put a message out awhile back that she wouldn't be taking any visits until after her high school season played out. That was before her injury/surgery though; surgery was on Jan 29th so doubt she'd want to sit on a plane that early into rehab. Wonder if UCLA game is doable? Fever game weekend perhaps?

It absolutely is NOT. April 29-May 4 is a Quiet Period whereby on campus recruiting is allowed. May 5-11 is Recruiting Shutdown where no contact is allowed. So the Fever weekend is in play; just would need to vacate the campus by midnight on gameday.

I know Harpring said she was planning on visiting Iowa when interviewed in late September, I believe Raina has been down to see her play a couple times through this season and I read where before she visited that Brandon Clay said that Matt Harpring was very impressed with the Iowa coaching staff. Seems to me the Iowa staff has had some contact with the Harpring’s. 2+2 doesn’t seem to be equaling 4 on some of this.

Correct. There's been mutual interest there for a long time. Doesn't mean Iowa will get her. She can go anywhere she wants and if you're trying to fake being an insider odds are probably that we don't wind up signing her so that's the safe play. But to claim she's faking interest in Iowa to go to this one specific game or that they haven't been in contact is just a lie.

I don’t think Tom is trying to be a fake insider, He has sources, It seems to me some wires have been crossed somewhere along the line.
