Hope we get another shot at Arkansas. Doolittle had 4 points in that game and fouled out.

Razorbacks shot 33 free throws; Iowa 6. However, I don't see them getting past Baylor...

Baylor is going to be tough. Their center is the woman's version of Branden Dawson. Probably weighs about the same too.

Great win and decisively done. The right girls get hot and they've got a shot at the Regional Finals. Logic didn't play all that well, by her standards, today. Imagine if she goes wild and the rest of the team plays as well as they did today.

When was the last time when Iowa men's and women's teams reached the Sweet 16 in the same year? Has it ever happened? Perhaps too early to think about that before we take of business in Seattle though.

Well, the Iowa men can get revenge for Iowa's women who lost to Gonzaga in the tourney a few years back this coming matchup, and then the women can likely repay the favor to get revenge for the men's loss in the NIT to Baylor a few years back, if they can't get revenge on Arkansas in the next game.

Probably no chance we will see him/her around here real soon.

As someone mentioned about Sam, she had too many turnovers, but she still was pretty darn good. She runs the show no doubt.

Hey, Iowa State beat them. Don't count Hawks out.

Was talking about not seeing Arkansas get by Baylor (and now it is 58-26 BU).

But yes, I think Iowa has an okay shot at making a run at BU. Go Hawks!

Baylor with a 32 point lead with 11 minutes left. I think I'll go ahead an pencil them into the next round.

They did lose to ISU this year, so cue the Jim Carrey "you're saying there's a chance" pic.

Officiating has been terrible.
I attend many WBB games every year. This was the worst officiated game that I have seen in person. Absolutely incompetent. The woman was actually the best of the 3 and she was terrible.

I was thinking never, but a quick look at Vivian Stringer's wiki page shows back-to-back Elite Eights in the '87 and '88 tourneys, with the Iowa men also making the Sweet 16 both years. So there you go.

Thought it might have happened then... Even though Kentucky had higher seeded teams for both men's and women's teams this year, this isn't going to happen for them this year! #7 Dayton just now puts down #2 Kentucky on Kentucky's home floor 99-94 for the women! And Iowa beat Dayton earlier this year 90-83 too.
