Iowa would be better with CJ Fredrick?

What would he add? Shooting? Don’t need more shooters. We need more playmakers who can play both ways. Not saying he won’t be a good one later on but don’t think a freshman Fredrick is the answer

What Iowa was missing was a guard recruit after CW announced he was transferring and then again after Ellingson/Wagner transferred. Fredrick was supposed to walk on for his freshman year, instead he got CW's scholly. Then the Ellingson scholly went to Fran's kid and the Wagner scholly was banked. 3 shots at getting a difference maker for this year and Fran did nothing to improve the roster.

Prime chance for Fran to bring in a GRAD TRANSFER to fill the void of missing guards! Instead he gives that scholly to another slow unathletic white kid.

I'm not going to trash a kid that hasn't even seen the floor yet, but what I saw from video of his high school team playing it's way to the Kentucky State Championship last year the kid has game.
We all thought that the addition of Joe Wieskamp would elevate Iowa, and even though Iowa finished 10 and 10 in the Big, Joe couldn't save the season from crash and burning. Iowa needed another guard and Fredrick could have been the X factor, with him sustaining a broken rib before the season began, taking a charge against Cook of all players, we won't know until next year.

It wouldn't surprise me to see both Patrick and Touissant red-shirt next year. Patrick needs to put on weight and how many minutes will Touissant even play, especially at his size. I know it is a lot easier for guards to play right away but he is only 160 pounds or so. I have heard Nunge has been great this year and has made a lot of progress and that Cook is staying. Next year will be another year with playing way too many players.

So, will next years collapse begin about the same time or earlier then it began this year? Can't wait to see Cook as Iowa's new/old point/forward.
Will he make more then this year's total of 0 - 3 pointers. Will he be able to cut his turnovers to a measly 3 or 4 a game? Can't wait "well yes I can" to see the new and improved TC...hahahahaha
