Iowa Wrestling NIL

I believe it's through the Hawkeye Wrestling Club and the Inner Circle but am not positive exactly how it works for wrestling. Swarm is separate and does not cover wrestling. @bnicolls might be able to answer?

Well Inner Circle is for HWC specifically. There isn’t anything specifically set up for Iowa wrestling. Honestly Adam Fellers might be the guy to talk to.

Maybe I should know this, but is there an NIL organization for Iowa wrestling and if so, who do I contact? I may be interested in giving $ for certain transfers.

good morning fellow hawkeye fans. would anyone be so kind as to point me in the right direction of where i can drop off a bag of cash for recruits? thanks

There is not a wrestling collective per say. The HWC has the Inner Circle. That would be your best bet. The HWC also has a separate fund raising effort to endow the club as well.

herkcy is correct. Just to clarify, there are no plans for a wrestling-specific NIL collective separate from the HWC. The Inner Circle is fantastic and growing, and new members are of course always welcome. The HWC greatly appreciates the support. The Inner Circle is there to fund day-to-day operations.

If you want your donations to be more flexible (e.g., NIL, etc.), it’s best to donate to the HWC outside of the Inner Circle. That is also easily done on the HWC website. This is a crucial piece of the effort, as endowing the HWC will allow for more aggressive funding for HWC athletes, etc., and under new NIL rules can also allow for NIL support.

Hopefully this helps to clear up any confusion. Supporting both the Inner Circle and the HWC endowment would be awesome, but one or the other would be great too. Frankly, if you’re choosing between the two, I’d recommend giving to the HWC endowment, as I think that’s where the greatest need is right now.
