Looking ahead to 2016, post-Woody, JU, Sapp, MG- we're going to be in the Emerald Coast Classic. It will be featured by Memphis, Iowa, Providence, and Virginia. This year's 2015 slate has Illinois, Virginia Tech, UAB, and some Ames school. Great addition to the 2016 schedule.

Awesome! Living in the Panhandle I never expected to get to see the Hawks play in person. I will definitely go and wear my Hawk gear with pride as I always do around here. Not crazy about Destin as it seems very high end and a different world from Pensacola but I think Iowans and our fans who make the trip will enjoy themselves. We have great weather in November and as a Navy guy who travelled the world I have to say we have the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen- the white sand makes them very unique.

Nice to see Iowa playing in solid tourneys the next 2 years. But maybe I'm little greedy was hoping we'd be going back to Maui classic again. Last time was 04' I think. But I think with a younger squad probably the right call to go to this tourney.

We frequent Fort Walton Beach area. Awesome area and we will for sure be there. But, it won't be bikini/beach weather in November. It is still a beautiful area with lots to do. Generally renting a condo is best/cheapest way to go. My guess is 500 or probably less for that week for 2 bedroom condo right on beach. I am partial to FWB over Destin, but either is fine. Pensacola is nice too. fantastic area.
