I hope he's 6-9. He looks every bit of 6-6. The weight I'll buy. And, that's not a knock. Everybody lies about height, and proper positioning and a marginal bit of athleticism can turn a guy into a helluva rebounder. There have been quite a few undersized PFs in Iowa hoops history that were very effective rebounders. I hope he can show up and board right away.
I believe i started that before just because of the way Howard was using him in the offense. Just like in the Rutgers tournament game he had 21 points in the first half and 3 in the second because he never got the ball passed to him down low. I said cade should reach out and get him to transfer to Iowa. Fran could have him play like Garza. Dickinson is a special player and completely wasted on the Michigan team and coach. He also has a couple Iowa connections.
His top 10 are pretty impressive teams. Iowa does not usually win these type recruiting battles. JMO
Mack looks like a great alternative, but I would be very happy with any of the guys summarized in the cover story, assuming scholarships open up to allow multiple additions. In addition to Brauns, I would prioritize another big man, and then an athletic shooter, who isn't afraid to rebound and play defense. I don't know enough to say who would be my favorites, but those listed all look like they would be great additions.
Will be interesting to see how all the moving pieces come together. Who might leave and who might join the team. Then building a team.
Jamille Reynolds would be a big addition. He is powerful, a rim protector and can score in the paint like Rebracca did.
Yep. People overlooked that when Weezy was here. Besides shooting 46% from three he averaged 7 boards a game his last year. Take those numbers again in a heartbeat.....

Just looking at stats, Minor looks like he would be a great addition for defense and rebounding. Merrimack is a small school, but conference co-player of the year and defensive player of the year. Definitely not an outside shooter, but that is not the priority IMO. 17,4 pts, 9.4 boards, 2.6 blocks and 1.4 steals per game 
I haven't watched or paid much attention to Dembele yet. Can he start day 1?
I think he'll be close for sure. Has experience against some quality opponents in games and camps. Definitely has the strength and is carrying good weight. Owen is the same. He'll need to get stronger but he's plenty built already.

Arkansas bought a lot of recruits for next year. I would be surprised if he fit into their scheme
We dont know because he isnt on the court long enough to find out.

Thanks. Shedrick looks like he would be an excellent addition. Rim protector and interior presence. Didn't shoot much away from the basket, be shot looks good in the tape provided. Good mobility for a 6-11 dude.
Hawks should chase after Aziz Bandoago from Utah Valley. Madsen just took another gig at Cal...
Don't get to see much except forceful dunks, but Jordan Minor seems a lot like the kind of player the Hawks have been missing. Almost double figures in boards, lots of blocks, and league defensive player of the year. He definitely is strong and can run the court.

Always a chance to prove me wrong. At least the activity level is more this off-season, but if you fan on all of them, you haven’t accomplished anything.
Shedrick may have been in Tony Bennett's doghouse during much of the season, because he got single digit minutes in several games. TB started him against Furman in their tourney game and he had one of his best performances of the season. Shedrick can't shoot the 3, but he can do everything else you'd want from a big man. Very athletic.
