Is Indiana win vs Wyoming predictive of a good B1G showing in NCAA tourney

I agree Indiana looked sluggish but Rutgers looked really good until they ran out of gas.
Even if Rutgers had pulled it out, they'd have nothing left in the tank for the round of 64.

Now we'll get to see the Irish get boatraced by a mediocre Alabama.

Not saying it's the same as last year, but in 2021, UCLA rallied from 14 down to beat Michigan State in OT in a First Four game. They went on to make the Final Four with wins over #23 BYU (6 seed), Abilene-Christian (14 seed), #5 Alabama (2 seed), #4 Michigan (1 seed). They lost on a last second shot to Gonzaga in the Final Four.

Just using this as a reference. :)

Rutgers got zero pts from their bench in a 90 pt game. That’s rough. 2 very even teams. Think you’re underestimating Bama. That’s a talented team. Can beat anybody in the country on a given day.

Where is Rutgers normal defense…seems pretty weak.
I thought it was rather ironic that the two OT periods involved clutch shooting and defensive breakdowns by Rutgers.

3 of the 4 First Four winners had to travel to the West Coast for their next game. Indiana's tip off is about 43 hours after their game in Dayton ended. I know they gotta play the games somewhere at sometime, but that's a crappy draw. I guess the answer is have a better season so you don't have to play in the First Four...

Bama is a weird team. They have some very good wins, but they have some WTF losses too. They have talent, but their defense is atrocious. If the threes aren't falling, they're easy to beat.
