Is Iowa ranked tomorrow?

3rd or 4th "others receiving votes."
There have been some strange scores this week. If Texas can hang on and beat USC, maybe we move up another spot.

We need Texas and San Diego State to win, that'll help our chances even more.

Boise and USC are out. A few others in the ORV around us lost but unfortunately a lot of the others didn't play. TCU probably showed just enough to stay ranked. Even if ASU loses, I think we're still around 27 or 28

I realize Iowa is 3-0, but they have beaten 3 teams with combined record of 1-6.

Maybe Iowa is worthy, but ranking Iowa because they won home games vs lesser opponents makes me think the voters are pure lazy.

The B1G outside of Ohio St and Penn St look ok to bad right now. I can see the voters not rewarding any B1G teams this week outside of the two above mentioned teams. We beat Wisconsin and we will be top 20.

We're going in dry against Wisconsin next weekend. It's not going to be pretty. Lube would help, but they're too proud to accept lube. Ergo, we're going in dry.

Thank you, Texas.
This isn't the same team that played Maryland.
Wasn't last year either....They got up to play USC and choked that game away.

This year they finished.

I won't buy Texas being back until they start beating the middle of the Big 12 again.

Iowa won’t but Syracuse will since they beat Free Shoes University so that must mean they are good by beating a crappy FSU team. Oh, and Florida too since they beat a hapless Colorado State team. Throw in North Texas too for beating the crap out of a terrible Arkansas team. When does Chevin call KF and ask to transfer in and show him some love?

What I have seen so far is that Iowa potentially has a top 5 defense in the country and an inconsistent offense does it deserve to be ranked ? I say Yes if they beat Wisconsin then Iowa is justified to be in the top 15.

Always amazes me with some of the teams that slip into the ranks with little to show for it and how much of a struggle it is for Iowa to crack the top 25. Likely the results of years of let-downs when the expectations were so high. If we crack the top 25 this week, I will be pleasantly surprised.
