Apart from a few early matches this year, he has shown NO offense.
yeah because he hasn’t looked like shit the last two matches.shut up
yeah because he hasn’t looked like shit the last two matches.
Okay that makes sense. But he has not looked good at all. Done arguing I get your point.it’s not about that. his offense isn’t the same as last year for sure. it’s about being a douche and calling him fake woods. no need to insult the kid
Stupid f*cking post. No need to shit talk like this.
The answer is yes, yes you're a c*nt.So, the answer is "yes'
The answer is yes, yes you're a c*nt.

Plus, the OP is just a troll. Always jumping on any opportunity to start a thread to diss our guys mid-match.it’s not about that. his offense isn’t the same as last year for sure. it’s about being a douche and calling him fake woods. no need to insult the kid
JFC! Terrible post!Apart from a few early matches this year, he has shown NO offense.
Why don’t you wrestle him and see if he’s fake woods?
🤦♂️Why don’t you wrestle him and see if he’s fake woods?
What’s the solution?Apart from a few early matches this year, he has shown NO offense.
No, the OP called him a fake. Not good, or right. This has nothing to do with Brian Ferentz or anything else. There are many other ways to criticize his lack of offense this year without being a jerk. Calling us idiots and saying we support mediocrity for calling out the OPs tone wasn't your best move either. Some of you idiots are the problem. The OP is attacking his wrestling, not his character. His wrestling has disappeared. Looks like a #15 ranked wrestler right now.
That’s awesome that he’s doing wonderful things in the community and likely in the class room with his Stanford start, but the issue is his wrestling. Some of you are likely Brian Ferentz apologists too and he’s a good son of Kirk, blah, blah, blah. Apologies lead to mediocrity and that’s been Iowa Football’s offense and now Iowa Wrestling under the leadership of Tom Brands.
Two of the wrestling assistants never won a championship. They weren’t elite, never had a killer mentality. Mediocrity breads mediocrity. Fans are sick of it! Those that aren’t and want to defend this crap product being put out on the mat can go be Iowa St. fans, they’re used to mediocrity.
Go ask him.Apart from a few early matches this year, he has shown NO offense.
Maybe he’s tired of wrestling? Maybe he’s tired of living in Iowa? Maybe he has a physical problem?Go ask him.
Probably at least 1 of these, and maybe Woods was also just near his 'ceiling' - when at your ceiling, much easier to go down a bit than up. A few other guys maybe just caught up too. I'm confident he'll still 'be there' come March, just not sure he'll stand on top.Maybe he’s tired of wrestling? Maybe he’s tired of living in Iowa? Maybe he has a physical problem?
Damn you smalls for being right (this time ). I wish these guys would develop a little more patience, but they never will. It starts to get ugly when the fans' entitlement and the team's performance don't align.did it ever dawn on any of you guys that
1) other wrestlers are good, too
2) life in the BIG is hard
3) Real might not be 100% but instead of sitting he's trying to help out his program?
He should sit if it will help him be a lot closer to 100%. What exactly is he helping by going?did it ever dawn on any of you guys that
1) other wrestlers are good, too
2) life in the BIG is hard
3) Real might not be 100% but instead of sitting he's trying to help out his program?
Everybody knew the outcome vs PSU ahead of time. Based on how he performed vs Michigan he wasn't close to ready to return. The team obviously has plenty of issues. Having Woods potentially healthy enough to win a title is worth way more than his impact on these duals.it's helping by trying to win a dual meet. to earn team points or to save them.
none of us knew what the outcomes would be for PSU or MICH.
if Real sits and the Hawks lose by 4 you'd be calling for his head anyway.
Didn't we just have this discussion regarding how a competent coach could "keep them from burning out"? I believe we did, and you assured everyone you were right again.Everybody knew the outcome vs PSU ahead of time. Based on how he performed vs Michigan he wasn't close to ready to return. WTF are you talking about? Piss off back to the PSU board you nut.Didn't we just have this discussion regarding how a competent coach could "keep them from burning out"? I believe we did, and you assured everyone you were right again.
As a wise man was heard telling his 15 year old son after yet another failure; "that was the 934th straight time in a row you've been wrong. Next time, you should try to make a better choice".
