Is there anything worse than going out of your way to get a hard working essential worker fired?

And just when we thought Trump was the worst type of human that you could ever come up with, there was this that happened, this morning. I will be sure to let you know if she still has a job.

i made "friends" with a lady at Sams Club when i renewed my membership. She told me that any time I need a hard to find item to call her and she would grab it before they opened and set it aside for me; then when I arrive at the store, I simply call her and she gets me my items

On Friday, this is the only way I got Charmin TP (limit of 1) and a 6 pound package (limit of 1) of fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts. TP and fresh meats were completely wiped out around 11 am.

BTW. she told me that she sees the same people every day right when they open going and grabbing TP. She said she tries to guilt some of them and say "weren't you here yesterday?"

It's crazy but the hoarding of TP and meats continue.
FYI...this is a serious violation of Walmart/Sams Club policy and is even illegal in some states (not sure about Minnesota).

If anybody wants to join me in reporting this employee, you can call the store at ### ### #### or corporate headquarters at ### ### ####.

Publix employees hooked up FSU football players for some free crabs and Jameis took the fall. Is that worse or better than simply letting a customer know about TP being in stock and setting some aside to be purchased?

I can guarantee you that all grocery store, walmart, costco, sams club, target, etc employees grab what they need before stores open for themselves, family and friends

but everyone, of course, is paying for the products

Guarantee, huh? Shows how good your word is.

No large corporate grocery or department store lets employees do that. Local leadership may be a bit more/less strict but it’s not allowed.

I admittedly don't watch a lot of Hawkeye basketball but Fran strikes me as Bobby Knight but just not physically abusive.

The opposite is also hilarious. At my Alma-mater Homer Drew was the coach when I was attending. Complete opposite. Calm to a fault. He would coach the kids but he didn't get mad at anyone, not them or the officials. Opposing team would drive the lane dunk the ball on us and the officials would call a foul on one of our players despite the fact that he was 5 feet away from any other human being on the court. Homer would just stand and clap, give his congrats to the player that just dunked on us. I remember one time Homer got a technical, I think because the officiating was just insanely bad and he slightly lost his temper. The whole crowd was shocked as though the pope just suddenly announced he was leaving the Roman Catholic Church to worship Satan and kill puppies.

I've heard some bad things about his son Scott, that Scott would talk down about other coaches. Nothing like his dad in that respect that's for sure.

You're both dumb and clueless.

You better get on the phone and start calling the corporate offices of HyVee, Walmart, Sams Club, Costco, Target, etc, and demand that his behavior not happen! And while you are at it, be sure to call each states' attorney general.

I'm not sure if this is Fran's point, but it's abundantly clear to me you need to get a life.

Your ignorance is leaking. Or you’re just really defensive about your sketchy behaviors.

Do you think maybe next time you’ll ask her for $20 out of the register, too?

But he's also constantly angry?
He gets as angry as fans when refs blow calls. Its called being human during a sporting event.

He prepares a game plan and when the players come out of the gates and are not following the game plan, he calls a time out and lets them, and a clipboard, have it.

LOL

Ding-leberry, why are you posting and not making phone calls????

I finished those 2 hours ago. First I left a message for the store manager. Then I called corporate and had a very interesting conversation. About 30 minutes later the store manager and two others on speakerphone (regional something and a weird title I assume was from corporate) returned my call, it was pretty apparent they take this stuff very serious...their brand is more valuable than their sales.

Anyway, I was assured the behaviors will no longer take place at that store and that the employee (sounded like they’d already figured out who she was) was being dealt with harshly.

I asked about banning customers. They said said the woman offered they wouldn’t punish the customers. I let them know I was disappointed in that decision.

Sounds like you’re not banned, though, so you have that to be happy about. But congrats on ruining the employee’s life. Hope her family didn’t need the income in these hard times. I wonder if she knows it was you who had loose lips.

Sounds like it is the old people with their early morning shopping that are doing this, can we switch their hours to the evening when they are all asleep?

Seems like he's had a few incidences where his temper got the better of him plus jokes like this seem like he has more of a temper than most.

Thank you for your honesty and the details. You are definitely an idiot for providing such detail.

And now I will be honest. You are a worthless piece of dung.

In addition, I will be calling her in the next couple days to first thank her and then to see if she indeed got into any trouble.

I don’t take you for the honorable type to fess up that it was you who got her in trouble. So good luck on your fishing expedition “so...how are things at the store??”

That employee should not have offered to set things aside. It isn’t fair to the people that actually go to the store.

If you really did that, that is disgusting behavior on your part.
Didn't know you were like that.
