Wow. I should play this game every time a liberal mentions Trump or one of his nicknames. Only I don’t have nearly the time to post every other post on 1/2 of the threads on here.

That’s why I said certain groups (liberals, magas) follow a lot closer to the leader.
Your general premise of politics is believe what one political party has to offer.
Not everyone in that particular party is going to agree on everything.
That’s why I don’t understand why we only have two major parties. I vote Republican but I also believe a woman should have the right to have an abortion. Although I do think it needs some sort of time frame on it.
I would also bet some democrats don’t believe in having a transgender male playing female sports.
I would bet most people belonging to a particular party will have different opinions on topics. Unfortunately we don’t see that in this board. If you try to have a different opinion you get railroaded by someone else because you don’t believe what they say.
The transgender thing is overblown, but I can tell you from personal experience, (being part of a (WTA tournament in Brazil), that the women did not approve of Renee Richards competing.

To this day, Martina Navratilova speaks out against transgender competing in women’s sports.

As to abortion. It should not be in the political arena. Back when Roe v Wade was passed, the limit was 12 weeks. It was extended because of amino. But that was a special case. I don’t think you can find many pro choice people that would agree to partial birth abortion.

One thing that most men don’t understand is that women don’t make the decision like a coin flip. They live with their decisions for the rest of their lives.

That is ****ing Gold!

So who’s to blame? Should we blame Obama or Biden for turning a blind eye for so many years? I don’t think all of the blame can fall on Trump. Like I said, he’s at least trying to fix problems. The issue is that he shouldn’t be the one fixing the issues.

First of all 90% of the shit you guys think are problems arn't problems. They are figments of your imagination because you've been somehow convinced that ordinary government employees that you don't know the names of are part of a massive conspiracy against you. There is no government conspiracy against the people who control the government.

I fully blame Trump.

Look no one person knows exactly where every dollar is spent in the US government. It's simply too big for that . . . and before you claim that's a problem, the same thing would be true of any major corporation. Elon doesn't freaking know where every dollar is spent at Tesla or SpaceX.

The US government is NEVER going to be small enough so that one person is going to know where every dollar is spent. You couldn't even get that if the only thing the government funded was defense unless you want the entire army being no bigger than one company in size.

So the way you do this if you suspect corruption or fraud is you get government auditors to go look into everything in the departments you are concerned about. These people are pros, they have served under R's and D's and they don't control how any money is spent they just track it all down.

You then take the audit they give you and if you see corruption you can PROVE corruption from an unbiased source with a paper trail and then make appropriate changes while consulting with congress.

And hell if you want to bring in outside auditors to do the job, be my guest so long as they are people with actual experience in auditing large organizations and not Elon Musk fanboys.

Elon does not have skills to perform an audit anymore than some random guy on the street has the skills to perform a technical inspection of a Ford class aircraft carrier. What's worse is that unlike professional government auditors, Elon clearly has more to gain from this because he owns companies that do government contracts!!!

they sure do. I’ve know people that have had an abortion and a person that has had the child and given it up for adoption.
I can tell you 100% that the person that gave the child up for adoption is happy about the decision she made. The others have a hard time knowing what they did. Especially after having children.
But of course politicians and others think that they should be in charge of making this decision and if you don’t agree. Well some loser on a message board is going to let you hear about it.

Have you guys seen the video with Pete Davidson talking about Trump being on SNL?

Apparently Trump could barely read, which presented a lot of problems at the advanced table readings. He kept just making stuff up.

One can answer this poll without taking any stance on Trump himself. It's categorically no. Read about some of the insane kings of European history. We're talking people so crippled mentally they were a living shell who had no ability to make decisions on any level. Caligula (declared war on the sea), Henry VI (spent a year in a vegetative state), Ludvig II (forsook undertaking any actual royal duties and spent his time building castles), Joana of Castile (confined to a convent for safety). I'm not even counting the sadism, incest, beastiality, etc...

Don't limit one's knowledge to just European history, but you are exactly right.

Well then perhaps the poll should be clarified as to modern day elected officials.

There are plenty of monarchs that fall into your version.

But, you made me think of something.

Catherine deMedici. She was one of the women in history that had incredible control in government. Her game was to pit the Catholics against the Huguenots.

She made a fatal mistake by taking it too far. At the end of the 100 year war, France was the wealthiest country in Europe. After the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, the Huguenots fled.

The problem was that the Huguenots were the merchants, the artisans, the people that made France wealthy. Lace for example later became a staple of Ireland because that’s where the Huguenot lacemakers fled.

I’m convinced that Trump and Vance watch TV, and get some of their ideas from The Handmaid’s tale, and more.

Still no. I might go with Tiffany Henyard on that one (modern day elected official)

Trump is not the dumbest, but he's a terrible combination of average intelligence and arrogance/hubris, which leads to a lot of the problems he causes.

I consider him to be the quintessential personification of the Dunning-Kruger effect.
this is close to what i think...

dumb? no

huge discrepancy between his actual level of knowledge and his own perceived level of knowledge? absolutely

and frankly...that's probably worse. at least dumb people will listen to others

I think you are somewhat right.
Trump can see when something is broken or isn’t right. He doesn’t always have the best approach to fixing it. But he at least suggests things that could help fix the problem.
I’d rather have that than someone that might see that something is broken but ignore it because they don’t have a clue what to do and it’s easier to pretend like nothing is wrong.
That’s why so many of you are struggling with DOGE. Trump might not be going at things the best way, but he’s also discovering problems in our government exist. I would bet past presidents were aware of shady shit happening but they just turned a blind eye.
He suggested bleach. Not that smart.

Orange Turd
Orange Dumbfcvk.
Orange Shithead.

Now it's Orange Second Fiddle since we have President Rasputin.

He's a convicted felon. A con-man, carnival barking fraud licking the groin of a superior con-man.

This.

Insulting in every way. Trump is not a strategist, he is a moron and a giant pu$$y. Not even close.
The funny thing is that back in the ‘80’s, he was persona non grata at Xenon, Studio 54. He was considered pure sleeze.
Even the twins that created the DuPont twin alter ego stuff had more status until they were outed as frauds.
I will admit NYC was pretty decadent back then, but he wasn’t a member of the “club”.

I've posted before, when I lived in New York he was notorious clown. He would have known he was humiliating himself if he was smart enough to know he was humiliating himself. It was obvious to New Yorkers he and his family were beyond audacious. There was a reason he had to go abroad to secure financing.

His sister, a judge retired amid investigations into her family's tax practices. The Orange Turd's poor judgement and lack of business sense led to Atlantic City casino failures which ended in bankruptcies. The civil suit settlements against him are documented. He has skated by and circumvented criminal charges via friendly courts and received sentences for 34 felonies.

It's not if but when the movie is made. It will not be pretty for the Orange Turd family. And this is before the shit pile gets higher.

Thank you for posting that. You know exactly what I’m talking about. Not many others really understand the depth and scope of this clown.

The Olympics thing was funny though. Oh yeah, I own a building by the Holland Tunnel. I’ll turn that into an Olympic stadium.

Edit for spelling
