isu and their new Super Bowl ploy

Conference games always mean more. Iowa hasn't won a conference title in more than a decade but they still mean more. Iowa State is your biggest rival but you wouldn't rather beat a conference opponent? I don't believe that
Why do they mean more? Seriously, there is no reason. Tell me one time in the last 100 years when a conference win has had a larger bearing on ISU's post season destination than any other game. Iowa had eight conference games last year that were more important than every single conference game ISU has played in for over 100 years.

2005. If they win any conference game instead of Iowa and they play in the Big 12 title game.

You can get Nebraska tickets at Kinnick for half the price you can for the Iowa State game.

So now it's ticket prices. Dammit, I just can't keep up here.

You don't suppose that has anything to do with there being thousands of fans from the opposing team (and it's their Super Bowl) in a 100 mile radius driving up ticket prices do you?

I'd wager that if NE is still in the B1G West title hunt on Black Friday that will change significantly.

I wasn't the one that brought up ticket prices. Ames is 130 miles from Iowa City. Wisconsin is a rival and they are 170 miles away but they don't sell out all the time and don't have as high of ticket prices.

Yet Iowa chose to price single game tickets to the Wisconsin game more than those for isu. I guess that puts to rest your argument that isu is our Super Bowl.

Ask cy city why Iowa priced single game tickets for Wisconsin and Michigan higher than they did for isu if isu is our Super Bowl? He can't handle my posts.

CyBuddy won't answer a question as to why Iowa priced single game tickets for Wisconsin and Michigan higher than they did for ISU if ISU is our Super Bowl. Maybe he'll go full circle and just start talking about a poster in the football complex during game week.

He's a slippery little troll.

What question are you talking about? Iowa priced single game tickets for Iowa State higher than they did for Nebraska so the Iowa State game means more? I don't think face value of tickets determine importance of a game.

And Iowa priced single game tickets for the Wisconsin and Michigan games higher than the Iowa State game.

Whew, thanks for finally helping us all settle this!

Says the guy who has spent 2 pages saying since ISU ticket prices are higher than Nebraska, it MUST be a bigger rivalry game.

I only mentioned ticket prices because Pepperman brought it up in reference to the importance of the KState game.

Game over, Wisconsin and Michigan are more important than isu. What will cy city do without his Super Bowl argument?

Tell us that ticket prices don't mean anything.
