ISU loses

It helps me deal with the loss to Wisconsin in football, takes some of the sting out of it.
Meh, expected to be a loss, kept it closer than expected and IMO showed a drive that no team could stop when they needed it.
Don't relish losses but it played out about as I expected.

Oregon State is #64 per Kenpom. You must not think much of ISU this year.

Oregon State is probably a bubble team this season....won't be a bad loss for them on the road.

Oregon State is projected to win 20 games.... looming at their schedule they dont have a single top 20 team (per kenpom) on that schedule. I'm guessing they're going to need a lot more then 20 wins to sniff the tourney in that week ass conference

Says the moron on an iowa board while isu is losing in football and just lost in bball. Fun day for you buddy.
Yes it actually was. Finally had a day off from work so I got up and went goose hunting with my dad and brother in law, The wife and I went out to dinner for our anniversary. I cleaned up a spare bedroom to make my son a play room. I also built him a teepee and a toy box to go in said room. Went to the store and got a 12 pack and drank with my dad on the front porch for the 1st time in along time. So actually yes it was a really fun day. Sports for the most part weren't on my mind to much.

Sorry but I can't take great pleasure in other team's misery. Has it gotten so bad @ Iowa that our best wins are the losses of our rivals? Maybe so.

Nope, I think most are looking forward to basketball. We should have a good team.

And ISU was #48 yesterday going into the game and KenPom projected an ISU loss. You act like ISU was favored? It was a good measuring stick of where ISU is right now. Obviously have things they need to improve if they want the NCAA to be in the discussion at the end of the year.

But I thought Iowa fans didn't care about Iowa State lol
We don't. Doesn't mean we can't enjoy the small thing in life. Small things like clowns.

Man you need to live a little. Nobody, except you, said anything about a clown loss being being anything but a little icing on the cake.

Nice try. Do you expect anyone to believe that a guy who constantly hangs out on an opponent's sports board to believe you don't care? Nice try.

Could you point me to the fan board where posters don’t take a little joy in their rival’s losses?

you realize that by being a dog and losing that ISU is not expected to be good, right? It has nothing to do with one outcome relative to the expected result.

you were expected to lose to a mid-60s team. That means you really aren’t very good.

It is one game in a season of many games. This result means we were not better than OSU yesterday. OSU could be much better this year than last year and ISU could be much worse, time will tell. Iowa lost to a mid-70s team at home last year and made the Dance. One game does not define a season. This was a good test for ISU, the first of many and whether ISU is good or not is a long way from being determined.

If ISU is going to make any noise this year, I think they'll have to be a better defensive team than they've been in quite some time. I don't think there's a ton of firepower to be very productive against the better teams. After Miss Valley St. gets 130+ fired on against them in their other two games, I think we can throw that one right out the window.

Nobody on that team except Halliburton scares me.

Nixon and Bolton are inefficient chuckers. Bolton was relegated to the bench at PSU and plays bad defense.

Young is little more than a big body.

Jacobson can't handle big posts. Look what Cook and Wesson did to him.

Iowa has two all conference caliber players and a deeper bench.

Who cares about the Iowa St MBB team?
