ISU loses

Nobody on that team except Halliburton scares me.

Nixon and Bolton are inefficient chuckers. Bolton was relegated to the bench at PSU and plays bad defense.

Young is little more than a big body.

Jacobson can't handle big posts. Look what Cook and Wesson did to him.

Iowa has two all conference caliber players and a deeper bench.

Seek therapy

All conference as in including honorable mention? And a deeper bench?

How can you say this after two games?

Let's see dumb dumb, Wieskamp was nearly a unanimous preseason all conference media selection and Garza is one of 20 centers named to the Kareem Abdul Jabbar watch list. I think that's enough to say they're both all conference caliber players this year.

Whatever Twins, even Kenpom agrees.

ISU is #51 and just lost to #66. Not good.
I watched it. Saw some positive things and some negative things, but nothing negative that can't be fixed. Team is going to be OK. Halliburton remains great fun to watch. Kid is not only very talented, but seems to be having a wonderful time. Conditt played well. Solomon Young very rusty, and seemed to be pushing himself, perhaps because his family was seeing him play college ball for the first time.

It's going to be a very streaky bunch, I think. Several guys capable of scoring, but also capable of failing to score. If there's somebody you want to take the shot at the end of the game, he hasn't made himself obvious yet.

Yes it actually was. Finally had a day off from work so I got up and went goose hunting with my dad and brother in law, The wife and I went out to dinner for our anniversary. I cleaned up a spare bedroom to make my son a play room. I also built him a teepee and a toy box to go in said room. Went to the store and got a 12 pack and drank with my dad on the front porch for the 1st time in along time. So actually yes it was a really fun day. Sports for the most part weren't on my mind to much.

So you shot a gun once, vacuumed and went to Applebee’s. Ames baby.
Grats btw!

Oregon State is #64 per Kenpom. You must not think much of ISU this year.

That's a Q1 loss. Every metric had OSU favored. I expected a close game and it was. Tough one, no fun, but I do think they figured out some stuff in the second half and it actually makes me feel better about the season.

One thing I hoped Halliburton learned was that when he's open, he ought to shoot.

this post didn't age well...

#41 Iowa gets absolutely destroyed by #77 DePaul.

At home.

If ISU losing on the road by 6 to #66 Oregon State is 'not good' I wonder what this game was...
