Lost in all the talk about the win over Nebraska is the fact that we finished 8-4 on the season, which means it's the first time since 2002 that Iowa won more than 7 regular season games in a season that they lost to Iowa State..........

Does this mean Iowa has finally put behind them the fact that Iowa typically ends up being a dogsh** average team in years they lose to Iowa State, or is this another anomaly season much like 2002?

Also, I believe this was the first season in some time that we lost to ISU and didn't lose to Fuskers.
